Disjointed Canceled by Netflix

Kathy Bates' Ruth won't be getting high anymore, at least not on Netflix. Disjointed, created by Chuck Lorre and starring Bates, has been canceled after its first two-part season. This comes about a month after the release of its second batch of episodes. The show followed Bates as Ruth, the owner of a marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles, along with the help of her son. The series also featured Tone Bell, Aaron Moten, SNL's Chris Redd, and Betsy Sodaro, with Nicole Sullivan in a recurring role. The first half of the season was released in August to tepid reviews, but TVRG's Rebecca Bunch enjoyed the show, despite its flaws.
