Drunk History Renewed by Comedy Central

Celebrities will still have a place to get drunk on Comedy Central next season. Drunk History, one of the network's oldest shows currently on the air, has received the go-ahead for a sixth batch of episodes. The series debuted in 2013 and since then, it has received nuerous Emmy nominations, incluing a 2015 win for costume design. Drunk History features show creator Derek Waters and various celebrity guest stars, telling and re-enacting notable events in history. The series is currently in season five, and with a 0.22 average, is one of Comedy Central's highest-rated series. AS of now, there is no word on Drunk History's fellow Tuesday comedy, Another Period.
