Agents of SHIELD: I'm still predicting renewal for SHIELD despite ratings that aren't so strong for the same reason that I predicted its renewal from the start, and the reason that ABC renewed it last year. It isn't really ABC's decision. The parent company, Disney, made ABC renew the show, according to an article published by Variety in September. It isn't a lock to return, but I don't see why what saved it last year won't save it this year.
Kevin Probably Saves the World: One scheduling move recently indicated that ABC is no longer supporting Kevin Probably, and now there is another to join that. ABC is airing a new episode of the show on February 20, up against the Winter Olympics. Maybe they are trying to see what a different lead-in (The Bachelor Winter Games) will do for the show, but it's more likely that this is more of a burn-off episode.
