Monday was a huge night for the networks, with all five networks starting up after a weeks-long Olympic drought. Things didn't go over very well. NBC had the best night, with a 2.7 for The Voice premiere and a decent 1.5 start for newbie Good Girls. The Voice had a great year-to-year trend with a decline of about 10%, improving on its fall launch. Meanwhile, Good Girls was up about two tenths from the Brave premiere, and a tenth below the year-ago launch of Taken. It's not a phenomenal start for Good Girls, but it's still pretty promising, especially considering that it won its timeslot. Elswheere, there was another series premiere that drew... less interest. Living Biblically began its run on CBS, where it got off to a weak start with a 0.8. The show is DOA and appeared so well before the premeire, but it did about all it could do with a mediocre 0.9 Superior Donuts lead-in. The 8 PM comedies Kevin Can Wait and Man With a Plan both inched down to 1.0, which is certainly uglier for Kevin considering that it's a two-tenth decline for it. Meanwhile, Scorpion did its thing at 10. ABC saw a small uptick for The Bachelor, up to 1.8. The Good Doctor then promptly fell off a cliff, down 0.4 to 1.3, a new series low. Get it some scheduling assistance STAT, ABC! The CW also had the lowkey premiere of iZombie, at 0.3 behind another 0.4 for Legends. It's not breaking records, but it's doing much better than Valor, improving on it in raw ratings despite a smaller lead-in than Valor ever received. On Fox, both shows sank to 0.8, with the Resident crumbling three tenths and Lucifer lsing two.
Finals Update: The Voice (+0.1) and Kevin Can Wait (+0.1) adjusted up. Superior Donuts (-0.1) adjusted down.
