Original programming began to wind down last night, as the Olympics will soon be just about the only thing on broadcast. Based on last night's ratings, that's probably a good idea, particularly ABC. The Alphabet's network heralded TGIT lineup took a mighty hit last night, with Grey's Anatomy dipping three tenths to a still-fantastic 2.0. It easily was the #1 non-Olympics show of the night, and was still ahead of many fall episodes. Behind it, Scandal also dipped three tenths, down to a mediocre 1.1 after two stronger episodes. At 10, How To Get Away With Murder sank two tenths to a series low 0.8. It's still an OK number, but the show is definitely just a shell of its former self. CBS continued its airing of Celebrity Big Brother to less successful results than Wednesday. The show sank to 1.4, down four tenths from its premiere. The result is a fine, yet unexceptional one that is well below what the parent show did in its Summer airings. After it at 9 was comedy repeats at 1.0 and 0.9, and at 10 was a SWAT repeat at 0.6. Fox aired the finale of the
recently-renewed The Four, minues one of four judges, steady at 1.3. It again continued a pattern of growth throughout the episode, hitting a 1.4 for the second half. The last February episode of the CW shows held steady at 0.6 and 0.4. On NBC, the Olympics unofficially began with a 3.4, easily cruising to a victory.
Finals Update: '2018 Winter Olympics' (+0.3) adjusted up.
