Wednesday was a night mostly free of original programming, with just one network airing original programming on the night. CBS's long-running reality Survivor ended its 400th season with a two hour finale and an hourlong reunion special. As usual, its two-hour finale far outpaced the reunion. The finale drew a 1.9 over two hours, a season high for the show. Even better yet, the show was even with last year, a great feat considering its large y2y decline for its premiere. The reunion special was actually up about three tenths from last year. It did have a rough half-hour decline, with 1.9/1.2 halves, but it'll still be up from last year even if it would adjust down. Elsewhere, the CW had holiday repeats, with Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer airing for the second time this year. The special was steady with its first airing from early December, and it nearly tied last week's Riverdale in viewers. Meanwhile, the 9PM Greatest Christmas Movie special delivered a low 0.2, though it made minor improvements on Dynasty is unrounded numbers. NBC had a Will & Grace rerun at 0.7 and an airing of Pitch Perfect, which delivered a 0.9 for the Peacock. It's a great rating for a movie airing, and it gets even better considering that it nearly hit 1.2 at 10:30. ABC had repeats of their Winter 2018 lineup (0.7/0.7/0.7/0.6/0.4), delivering mixed results. Fox repeated their Fall Wednesday lineup, with dismal returns (0.5/0.4).
