CBS opted to air their annual 'I Love Lucy Christmas Special' alongside an original colorized episode (0.8). It matched last year's performance and was the top-viewed program of the night. It also tied 'Dateline' (0.8) for the highest-rated program of the night in the Adults 18-49 demographic. CBS wrapped up the night with a lower-rated 'Dick Van Dyke Show' (0.6) and an encore of 'Blue Bloods' (0.5).

ABC's 'Agents of SHIELD' (0.6) rose a tenth from its last episode. It might've been positively affected by the 'Shark Tank' repeat (0.7) that aired at 8. The alphabet network closed the night with a low-rated '20/20' (0.4).

NBC's 'Blindspot' (0.6) inched down from its last episode and led into 2 hours of 'Dateline' (0.8).

FOX had two hours of 'Hell's Kitchen' repeats (0.5/0.5). The 9pm episode beat out almost all original episodes of 'The Exorcist'.

The CW had low-rated holiday specials (0.2/0.2).
