It was a low-rated Thursday for NBC, which had one of the only originals in town. But based on ratings, you absolutely would not know that. Great News stayed steady at horrible, no good, very bad ratings with a 0.4, tying preceding and succeeding repeats of Will & Grace and Chicago Fire, but below Superstore. It's horrid for the show, even worse than when it was getting 0.6s last year, but it somehow looks better this week than last week, as at the very least, it didn't lose 33% of itself. CBS crushed everyone else with numbers above 1.0 for the first two hours (posting Big Bang's best repeat ratings all season) and a near-original repeat number for SWAT. Fox had a special that didn't do well at all, and with 0.6/0.5 halves, it may end up matching Superstore (R) in the finals. Meanwhile, ABC had decent repeats for its game shows, with TTTT and Pyramid at 0.7 and Match Game at 0.6. None of the shows did all that much better than this in their original ratings, so the network is probably pleased with these results. The CW aired a repeat of the iHeartRadio Music Festival to similar results as the original airing.
