After a passable start, 'SHIELD' (0.5) dropped by two-tenths and hit a new series low in week 2. It was surrounded by a steady 'Once Upon a Time' (0.5) and '20/20' (0.5).
Despite the bad news on ABC, CBS had a big night as 'Hawaii Five-0' (1.1) and 'Blue Bloods' (1.0) each rose two-tenths. 'MacGyver' (0.9) also inched up at 8.
'Blindspot' (0.7) and 'Dateline' (0.9) both matched last week's results on NBC.
FOX's 'The Exorcist' (0.4) rose a tenth from last week's dreadful 0.3. 'Hell's Kitchen' (0.8) was also up a 8.
After taking a week off, 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend' (0.2) was steady on the CW. At 9, 'Jane the Virgin' (0.3) rose a tenth.
