Thursday TV Ratings, 12/7/17: Great American Baking Show Dips from Toy Story, Arrow Closer to 0.0 Than 1.0 (UPDATED)

ABC's pair of animated specials both had solid outings, with Shrek The Halls once again out-rating Toy Story That Time Forgot despite the two switching time slots this time. Great American Baking Show started with an OK 0.8, though that's down 20% from its previous premiere. Still, it should provide for solid enough holiday filler, with the 10pm portion not too far off from your average How to Get Away with Murder rating.

CBS saw rebounds in comedies that have Jim Parsons in them, as The Big Bang Theory rebounded three tenths and Young Sheldon up a tenth. Mom and Life In Pieces stayed steady with their 1.4/1.1 ratings from last week. Mom is even with its year-ago result, showing that Young Sheldon has certainly been a great improvement for it over The Great Indoors. Finishing off the night was SWAT, which is hanging in there at a 0.9.

Thursday Night Football lost four tenths from last week, though the year-ago game was lower-rated. Overall a solid outing, even if not the highest-rated of Thursday Night Football games.

Gotham and The Orville were even week-to-week, with the latter failing to climb for its finale. Still, an impressive hold given it started its Thursday run at a 1.1, and has been consistently growing from its lead-in. Definitely a well-deserved renewal.

Supernatural was down a tenth to a 0.5 A18-49 rating, but was still The CW's highest-rated show of the night. Arrow has had an odd trajectory, sinking to a 0.3 on Thanksgiving, up to a 0.9 for the crossover episode, and now back down to a 0.4.

Finals Update: Football Night In Atlanta (-0.4) adjusted down. Thursday Night Football and Supernatural (+0.1) adjusted down.
