Through its official twitter account, Hulu has set release dates for two of its new original scripted dramas. Dark comedy Shut Eye starring Jeffrey Donovan( Burn Notice, Fargo) will premiere on August 31st while psychological thriller Chance starring Hugh Laurie (House, Jeeves and Wooster, Blackadder, Stuart Little) will be released on October 19th. Both shows will have 10 episode orders for their first seasons with Chance already renewed with a 10 episode second season.
I loved House so I'm already looking forward to Chance. The premise for Shut Eye sounds interesting and with a cast featuring Jeffrey Donovan and Kadee Strickland, I think it should be worth a watch.
