Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris Stars Modestly (Updated)

NBC
Per TVMediaInsights, new NBC variety entry Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris received a 4.7 household rating last night. That means that it was watched in approximately 4.7% of households. This was enough to push it head of the competition, but it was only 62% of its lead-in (America's Got Talent) household rating, and plummeted from a 5.3 in the 10pm half-hour to a 4.1 in the 10:30pm hour.

Main demo ratings should be released very shortly, but bottom line is expect a mediocre number from the show as well as a very steep half-hour dropoff. My guess is that this one will be short-lived.

UPDATE: The first episode received a 1.9 rating, with half-hours of 2.0 and 1.7. That's a somewhat promising number, which I can see improving a little in its post-Voice airings, and then falling in the Tuesday at 8 hour.
