Per Deadline, NBC has ordered nine more scripts for its freshman drama, Blindspot, which premiered to a 3.1 rating last Monday. Blindspot drew a 4.5 rating and 15.2 million viewers in the L+3 results. Most script orders for freshman series are for three to five scripts, but this pickup is for nine, which means that Blindspot now has a full back order. Although this does not guarantee nine more episodes, it is likely that these episodes will be produced because of the above-average ratings for the show.
What do YOU think of Blindspot so far? Did NBC make the right decision by giving Blindspot a full script back order and will the ratings hold up by the time these episodes enter production? Leave your answers in the comments below!
