Ratings Analysis: Fox led the way on Easter Sunday as the 'NASCAR Food City Dirt Race' (0.74) narrowly outpaced nearest competitor 'America's Funniest Home Videos' (0.72, +0.20). Though 'AFV' enjoyed a sizable surge, ABC's 'American Idol' (0.70, -0.03) shed three-hundredths when compared to the previous Sunday. On CBS, '60 Minutes' (0.55, -0.36) fell back down to Earth after its week-ago ratings explosion but that didn't stop 'The Equalizer' (0.56, +0.03), 'NCIS: Los Angeles' (0.57, +0.13), and 'SWAT' (0.48, +0.10) from making noticeable gains. On NBC, 'Weakest Link' (0.25, -0.07) and 'Transplant' (0.13, -0.07) lost seven-hundredths apiece. The 7PM rerun of 'American Song Contest' (0.13) was five-hundredths below the one from last Sunday (0.18). The CW's 'Riverdale' (0.06, +0.02) grew by two-hundredths and was followed by encores of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' (0.06) and 'Would I Lie to You?' (0.04).
