Another veteran member of the CBS lineup has received a renewal ahead of the quickly-approaching May Upfronts. This time, it's Friday staple Blue Bloods receiving a renewal. Tom Selleck's police procedural is nearing the end of its twelfth season, and its run has now been extended to at least thirteen seasons. Despite a 15% drop in the ratings from last season, Blue Bloods remains one of Friday night's top shows, and easily rates above all others in total viewers. It is also one of the highest-rated 10 PM dramas on television. It is the only CBS Friday show this season to secure a renewal for next season, aside from SWAT, which was shifted to Sundays at midseason. Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Len Cariou and Will Estes lead the procedurals cast alongside Selleck. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
