Monday TV Ratings 4/4/22: American Idol Leads, Weakest Link Stays Weak Behind Low American Song Contest (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: ABC's 'American Idol' (0.64) was a tenth lower than the previous Monday but just a hundredth below what it garnered on Sunday night. At 10, 'The Good Doctor' (0.37, -0.07) crashed to a new series low. NBC's 'Weakest Link' (0.24, +0.04) rose by four-hundredths from Sunday's dismal showing but couldn't even match the fading 'American Song Contest' (0.28, -0.06) that led into it. The rest of the networks had lineups solely comprised of repeats, with CBS offering up encores of 'The Neighborhood' (0.44), 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.37), 'NCIS' (0.28), and 'NCIS: Hawai'i' (0.22). Fox went with reruns of '9-1-1' (0.34) and '9-1-1: Lone Star' (0.29) while the CW had repeat showings of 'All American' (0.07) and 'All American: Homecoming' (0.06).

Finals Update: The repeat of 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (+0.1) adjusted up.
