Wednesday TV Ratings 4/20/22: The Masked Singer Sets New Series Low, Chicago Med and Chicago Fire Dip, Rising Survivor Leads (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: A controversial appearance from former mayor Rudy Giuliani did nothing to help boost Fox's 'The Masked Singer' (0.63, -0.03). The reality series set a new series low and remained in third place in the 8PM hour. 'Domino Masters' (0.33, +0.02) picked up two-hundredths at 9. On CBS, 'Survivor' (0.86, +0.07) gained seven-hundredths, 'Beyond the Edge' (0.28, -0.02) dropped by two, and 'Good Sam' (0.20) held steady. ABC's 'The Goldbergs' (0.49, +0.03) rose by three-hundredths while 'The Wonder Years' (0.31, -0.03) and 'A Million Little Things' (0.26, -0.03) declined by the same amount. 'Home Economics' (0.28, +0.02) inched up behind a rerun of 'The Conners' (0.26). 'Chicago Med' (0.65, -0.04), 'Chicago Fire' (0.77, -0.05), and 'Chicago PD' (0.68, -0.04) all dipped on NBC. The CW's Freddie Mercury special (0.11) was a modest performer by the network's standards.

Finals Update: 'Survivor' (+0.1), 'Chicago Fire' (+0.1), and the repeat of 'The Conners' (+0.1) adjusted up.
