Fox's most successful new scripted show of the 2021-22 TV season has secured a second season. The Cleaning Lady, which aired its ten-episode first season earlier this year, has been renewed by Fox. The show is by far the highest-rated new Fox series of the season, notching a solid 0.46 average over its first season, beating runner-up Our Kind of People by over a tenth-and-a-half in the key 18-49 ratings demo. It also ranks as the #4 new drama overall this season, behind La Brea and franchise expansions FBI: International and NCIS: Hawaii.
