You heard right: old CW hit show The Vampire Diaries is coming to an end after next season, per TVLine. Once a staple for the network, The Vampire Diaries fell to 7th place on The CW with a 0.50 A18-49 average after its midseason move to Friday nights, where it lost some of its core W18-34 audience. Although still a solid performer, it's down around 35% year-to-year to its worst season yet in raw and relative ratings.
