Per various sources, FOX has renewed New Girl for a sixth season. The show is averaging a 1.22 A18-49 number currently (and something higher in W18-34), down just 6.5% year-to-year (FOX's healthiest veteran in terms of year-to-year comparisons). The show received a much-needed boost earlier in the season when they brought on Megan Fox to temporarily replace the titular character, and while ratings have somehow fallen back down to last season's levels with the return of Zooey Deschanel, it is still FOX's #1 live-action sitcom.
