Young Rock Ordered to Series by NBC

NBC has given a straight-to-series order to another comedy for the 2020-21 season, with a series based on the early life of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson joining Tina Fey's Ted Danson-led mayor comedy on the schedule next year. The series, titled "Young Rock", will feature Dwayne Johnson in a starring role in the series based on his formative years, which was written and produced by Fresh Off the Boat creator Nahnatchka Khan. The initial order for the series is for eleven episodes.
