Ratings Analysis: CBS's The Amazing Race (0.37) returned in fairly decent shape for its first episode of 2024 but was noticeably down from its winter finale (0.44). At 8, Survivor (0.75, +0.14) rebounded rather nicely after sinking last week. The Conners (0.39, +0.02) and Not Dead Yet (0.26, +0.01) were up a bit on ABC, while Abbott Elementary (0.35, -1.08) was obviously way down from its Oscars-boosted episode but up by 0.02 from its last Wednesday episode. In the 10 p.m. hour, Judge Steve (0.11, -0.05) crashed to another new low. Over on Fox, things got worse for The Masked Singer (0.38, -0.03) and Family Guy (0.16, -0.04), but Animal Control (0.21, 0.00) held steady with its week-ago premiere. NBC re-ran the Chicago dramas (0.25/0.26/0.26) once again. Wild Cards (0.07, +0.02) and Family Law (0.05, +0.01) rose on the CW.
Finals Update: The repeat of Chicago PD (+0.1) adjusted up.
