CBS has renewed their new drama series Tracker for a second season. The series originally premiered after the Super Bowl before settling into the Sundays at 9 pm time slot, taking over for the canceled East New York. Even disregarding the premiere, Tracker is one of CBS’s highest-rated scripted series this season in Live + Same Day ratings. Additionally, its time slot premiere had more multi-platform viewers than any other CBS premiere this season in the seven-day viewing window.
Tracker is CBS’s first scripted renewal for the 2024-25 season. It will join upcoming new dramas Watson, NCIS: Origins, and Matlock on the schedule, alongside new sitcom Poppa’s House and the latter half of the final season of Blue Bloods. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
