CBS has renewed Fire Country for a third season. The Friday drama is currently averaging a 0.44 Adults 18-49 Live + Same Day rating, even with its first season. Its Season 2 premiere was up 71% in multi-platform ratings after 7 days of viewing. On the season, it is averaging 9.21 million viewers in MP+7. A potential sheriff-based spinoff is being eyed for the 2024-25 season.
CBS has also renewed Ghosts for a fourth season. The comedy is their first sitcom renewal for the 2024-25 TV season, and the third comedy series overall ordered for the season. It is averaging 10.2 million viewers in MP+7 and a 0.52 rating in the Adults 18-49 Live + Same Day demo.
Neither renewal comes as a surprise; both Fire Country and Ghosts were predicted as Certain Renew for the 2024-25 season.
