Wednesday TV Ratings 3/6/24: The Masked Singer Nears Low in Return, Animal Control and Family Guy Have Weak Starts, Survivor Sinks to New Low (UPDATED w/Analysis)

Ratings Analysis: Fox's The Masked Singer (0.41) was only a few ticks above its series low in its spring debut but was still the second highest-rated program on Wednesday night. At 9, Animal Control (0.21) had poor retention of Singer but was only a hundredth below its season finale from May 2023. Family Guy (0.20, -0.23), meanwhile, crashed to a new series low for its first Wednesday episode in over two decades. On CBS, Survivor (0.61, -0.22) completely collapsed after last week's solid return. ABC's Judge Steve Harvey (0.16, +0.02) improved a bit despite having to air after sitcom reruns (0.28/0.17/0.19). NBC's One Chicago lineup (0.27/0.25/0.24) was in repeat-mode. Wild Cards (0.05, +0.01) ticked up on the CW as Family Law held steady at 0.04.

Finals Update: All shows held their preliminary rounded ratings.
