Monday TV Ratings 3/26/18: Good Doctor Finale Steady, Kevin Can Wait Joins the CBS Fraction Club

The battle of the singing shows got even closer last night, as The Voice tumbled three tenths, while American Idol was steady. The Voice still holds the upper hand by a fair margin, but Idol is still doing very well for ABC. The 10 PM matchup is far less competitive, with the finale of The Good Doctor destroying the rest of the competition and cruising to victory with an excellent 1.6, steady with its previous episode. It was sixth-tenths ahead of NBC's Good Girls, its closest competition in the slot. CBS also aired original programming last night, but you wouldn't know it by the ratings. The Tiffany kicked off the night fractional, with Kevin Can Wait dipping below 1.0 for the first time ever. Man With a Plan followed, and Superior Donuts dipped from MWAP with a steady 0.8. Living Biblically, which has proved to be somewhat stable this season, held at 0.7. At 10, Scorpion continued to lose the slot, but at least held steady at 0.8. Fox's The Resident continued to show strength with a 0.9, rising from its Lucifer lead-in. The CW lineup held steady.
