Tuesday TV Ratings 5/21/24: The Good Doctor Ticks Up for Series Finale, Will Trent and The Rookie Also Rise, FBI and The Voice Finales Lead [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: ABC's The Good Doctor (0.22, +0.02) did not have a Young Sheldon-sized surge on series finale night but was still up a touch as it closed out its seven-season run. Earlier in the night, Will Trent (0.33, +0.03) and The Rookie (0.30, +0.03) were also up for their respective season finales. NBC's The Voice (0.40, +0.05) was on the rise for its closer as well and found itself in a tie with the FBI finale (0.40, -0.04). CBS also aired the finales of FBI: International (0.34, 0.00) and FBI: Most Wanted (0.32, +0.01). The Cleaning Lady (0.14, -0.01) lost a hundredth for its Fox finale. Police 24/7 (0.07, +0.02) bounced back on the CW, while Hostage Rescue (0.07, 0.00) matched last week's premiere. 

Tuesday TV Ratings 5/14/24: The Tonight Show Anniversary Special Strong, The Good Doctor and The Cleaning Lady Rise, FBI Continues to Lead [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: The Jimmy Fallon iteration of The Tonight Show celebrated its 10th anniversary with an NBC special (0.41) that put up a strong rating and even built on a stable edition of The Voice (0.35, 0.00) in the Adults 18-49 demographic. Will Trent (0.30, +0.01) and The Rookie (0.27, +0.01) picked up a hundredth apiece on ABC, while The Good Doctor (0.20, +0.06) grew in a more noticeable way. On Fox, The Cleaning Lady (0.15, +0.02) posted a higher rating than it did last week, but Alert: Missing Persons Unit (0.11, 0.00) failed to rise on finale night. FBI (0.44, -0.02), FBI: International (0.34, -0.03), and FBI: Most Wanted (0.31, -0.01) all dropped on CBS. Hostage Rescue (0.07) had a decent debut on the CW and outpaced its sinking Police 24/7 lead-in (0.05, -0.04).

Tuesday TV Ratings 5/7/24: Police 24/7 Starts Strong by CW Standards, Will Trent and The Good Doctor Hit Season Lows, Weakest Link Rises [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Police 24/7 (0.09) had a fairly successful launch by CW standards and more than doubled last week's Crime Nation finale (0.04). Will Trent (0.29, -0.03) and The Good Doctor (0.14, -0.01) fell to new season lows on ABC, but The Rookie (0.26, +0.02) actually improved. On NBC, The Voice (0.35) was back on Tuesdays for the first time in over a month and positively affected Weakest Link (0.30, +0.07) and Password (0.29, +0.07). The Cleaning Lady (0.13, -0.02) and Alert (0.11, -0.02) decreased in size on Fox. FBI (0.46, +0.04) and FBI: International (0.37, +0.01) were up on CBS, but FBI: Most Wanted (0.32, -0.03) declined.

Tuesday TV Ratings 4/30/24: Lopez vs Lopez Jumps for Finale, The Rookie and The Good Doctor Sink to Series Lows, Alert Barely Beats Last Week’s Repeat [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: NBC's Lopez vs Lopez (0.33/0.26) jumped for its season finale, going well above last week's abysmal pair of episodes (0.21/0.19). At 10, Password (0.22, -0.04) declined but matched its Weakest Link repeat lead-in (0.22). Will Trent (0.32, +0.02) grew on ABC, but The Rookie (0.24, -0.07) and The Good Doctor (0.15, -0.04) crashed. The Cleaning Lady (0.15, -0.01) and Alert (0.13, -0.04) also collapsed on Fox, with Alert finding itself just a hundredth higher than last week's repeat. CBS aired repeats of FBI (0.33), FBI: International (0.30), and FBI: Most Wanted (0.26). On the CW, Crime Nation (0.04, 0.00) held even for its finale.

Tuesday TV Ratings 4/9/24: The Cleaning Lady and Alert Sink to Embarrassing New Lows, Lopez vs Lopez and Will Trent Also Drop, FBIs Rise (Final Ratings w/Analysis)


Ratings Analysis: The Cleaning Lady (0.11, -0.04) and Alert (0.12, -0.05) dropped some more on Fox, with both dramas setting new series lows yet again. NBC sitcom Lopez vs Lopez (0.27/0.21) was also down, declining from last week's premiere (0.29/0.26) in both half-hours. Weakest Link (0.24, -0.03) and Password (0.24, -0.01) posted matching 0.24s but shed a few ticks apiece. Will Trent (0.30, -0.10) lost a full tenth on ABC after posting a new series high last week. The Rookie (0.31, -0.05) and The Good Doctor (0.19, -0.03) also diminished in size. CBS was the lone network to post gains on Tuesday night as FBI (0.50, +0.01), FBI: International (0.40, +0.05), and FBI: Most Wanted (0.40, +0.02) were all up a bit. The CW re-aired an episode of Crime Nation (0.04).
