The Sinner Renewed for Season 2

USA's breakout Summer hit is returning for a second run - just without its star. The Sinner, which debuted in August 2017 and ran for 8 episodes, has been renewed for a second season today, sixth months after its finale. The #1 new cable show of Summer 2017 frequently out-rated its lead-in, Suits, and steadily grew in the ratings, starting with a 0.42 and climbing to a 0.77 for its finale. The first season's star, Jessica Biel, is not likely to return, though co-star Bill Pullman, who portrayed Detective Harry Ambrose, is set to return.
