Netflix's acclaimed multi-camera sitcom has finally received some good news, two months after its second season premiered. One Day At a Time, which stars Justina Machado and Oscar winner Rita Moreno, has finally received a third season, after seemingly being in limbo. The series premiered in 2017 and has since aired 26 episodes, with 13 episodes in each of its two seasons. The show focuses on a Cuban-American family, with Machado portraying matriarch Penelope and Moreno protraying her overbearing mother Lydia. The series has received numerous awards and nominations, including an Emmy nomination for Multi-Camera picture editing.
