Supergirl has just been renewed--but not by CBS. By The CW. Although its average was a 1.68 A18-49 demo rating in Live + Same Day, its final episodes settled around the 1.3 range, and CBS doesn't own the show. It does own a stake in The CW, who has decided to pick it up at presumably vastly reduced costs. This could help improve CW's Monday, or even pair well with The Flash.
