Fox has renewed another of their new drams this season, handing an early renewal to medical drama Doc, eight episodes into its run. The show has been something of a breakout for Fox this season, starting slow but growing as the weeks went on, averaging 0.23 in the key 18-49 demo and hitting a demo high last week. While that puts it behind most dramas on rival networks ABC, CBS and NBC, it's Fox's #2 live action series, rating ahead of every show on the network besides 9-1-1: Lone Star, which ended earlier this year. Doc has also been a strong performer on streaming, consistently placing within the top 15 shows on Hulu. The show's performance was not just enough to earn a second season, it was enough to earn a full second season. While many shows have tapped out at eighteen episodes or less in recent seasons, Doc's second season will be a complete twenty-two episodes. Molly Parker, Omar Metwally, Jon Ecker, Anya Banerjee, and Amir Vann star in the series, with Scott Wolf in a recurring role. This is a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
