What’s Trending on Streaming: Daily Trending Lists for Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Paramount+ and Max from February 16-February 22

It's been another busy week on streaming, with several high-profile entries across the various streamers, including the return of an Emmy-winning series on Max, the debut of a new Pixar series on Disney+, the network premiere of a popular animated series available on Hulu, and the official debut of a new CBS series on Paramount+. Keep reading to see how they all fared!

Hulu:

Hulu's original series Paradise had another strong week this week with three days at #1, showing why it secured a second season renewal earlier. this week. In addition to the three #1 placements, the show was also within the top five every day it wasn't #1. Fellow Hulu original The Kardashians was #1 twice this week. ABC shows took #1 the other two days this week. The Rookie, now no longer competing with lead-in High Potential, was #1 for a day, and in the top ten for the entire week, only dropping as low as #9 on the chart. Scamanda ended its run by rising to #1, possibly for the last time, after spending five of seven days in the top ten. Several other ABC series remained Hulu power players, as well. The Bachelor  peaked at #2, and was in the top ten four days this week. Will Trent also peaked at #2 - its best showing this season - and was within the top ten five times this week. 20/20 peaked at #5 and charted five days this week. Daytime soap General Hospital charted six days this week, peaking at #6. Abbott Elementary charted five times this week, and Shifting Gears charted two, as both took the week off from airing new episodes. What Would You Do? and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition were the only originals on ABC not to chart this week. Fox didn't have a terribly strong week on Hulu, with only two of their shows charting in the top five at all. Doc performed the best, peaking at #4 this week and charting six times this week. Rescue: HI-Surf peaked at #5, then dropped to #13 and was off the chart after that. Family Guy had an exceptionally poor start to its Fox season, entering at #14, dropping to #15 the next day, rising to #12 after that and then slipping off the list. That's better than Grimsburg and Krapopolis, which both failed to chart at all, but a far cry from how it performed for its Hulu-exclusive holiday episodes, which both charted at #1 and spent several weeks on the chart (often towards the top), rather than just three. Animal Control entered the chart at #14, better than lead-out Going Dutch, which didn't chart. Extracted charted four days this week, peaking at #9. Kitchen Nightmares charted only two days this week, while fellow Ramsay series Next Level Chef charted for four. The Masked Singer only charted once, at #10. The Floor charted four days, peaking at #7.

Disney+:

It was an odd week on Disney+, with a special look at a movie that's already been released, Captain America: Brave New World, being the highest-ranked title on the service for the first four days of the week. This four minute trailer was watched by enough people to knock MCU animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man down from #1 on the chart. Spider-Man had an outright terrible week, dropping as low as #5, not just below this trailer but also below several movies. Spider-Man did eventually rise after the release of its final two episodes of the season, rising back to #2 for two of the last three days of this week, but its overall chart performance the last two weeks imply that it's been somewhat of a flameout, with a worsening performance on the charts with each passing week. Disney+ also debuted a new series this week, with Pixar releasing their second full-length TV series, Win or Lose. The series has been #1 since its debut, three days and counting. Hulu original Paradise charted five times on Disney+ this week, rising as high as #3. As always, films made up a large percentage of the chart this week, with A Bug's Life, Longlegs, the 2023 Little Mermaid remake, Lil & Stitch 2, and several Avengers and Captain America films charting for multiple days.

Peacock:

Olivia Benson is still the Queen of Peacock. Law & Order: SVU swept past the completion this week, ranking at #1 the entire week. Just behind it at #2 every day was The Office. Outside of SVU, Dick Wolf shows were just about the only NBC shows to chart. Chicago PD remained the strongest Chicago, though Chicago Fire did brush past it twice this week, while Chicago Med was always in third of that trio. Law & Order charted twice, at #9 on Sunday and #8 on Saturday. Saturday Night Live had a highly-publicized milestone anniversary special this week, drawing massive ratings on NBC. The hype translated a bit to Peacock, as the legendary sketch comedy show peaked at #4 this week, its best showing of the season. it charted two days in all. St. Denis Medical, the only other NBC series to chart, also charted two days, at #9 both times. The Voice, The Hunting Party, Night Court, Deal or No Deal Island, The Irrational, Found and Happy's Place all failed to chart whatsoever. Peacock original The Traitors peaked at #3 this week, its worst showing yet, and actually fell off the chart entirely one day, ranking at #10 a few times as well. Love Island: All Stars, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Southern Charm were among the reality highlights on the chart.

Paramount+:

It was a fairly diverse sat of #1s on Paramount+ this week, with five different shows going to #1 this week. Yellowjackets had its first full week of the season, and it is performing incredibly well for a Showtime series. No other Showtime series before it has ever charted throughout the week, and Yellowstone not only charted the whole week, but was within the top five every day. NCIS remained a top offering, even though it didn't air a new episode this week, charting at #1 twice this week, and never dropping below #3 on the chart. Tracker returned to #1 on the chart, and charted four days in all. Paramount+ original School Spirits also remained a solid entry, charting all week and rising to #1 once. Fire Country was the other show to hit #1, again charting there on Saturday. New show Watson finally made is regular time slot debut. Despite tepid ratings on linear TV, it entered at #4, though it was off the list the next day. FBI peaked at #2 and was down to #7 the next day before dropping off the list. Ghosts charted the entire week, peaking at #2. Georgie & Mandy peaked at #5, charting twice. Matlock also charted twice this week, and peaked at #6. Elsbeth returned to the chart this week at #9 on Friday. SWAT charted for the first time this season last week, and charted again this week at #10. The Neighborhood charted six days despite not airing. The Equalizer, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, Hollywood Squares, The Price Is Right at Night, Raid the Cage and NCIS: Sydney all failed to chart this week despite airing.

Max:

This week saw the return of one of HBO's tentpole series, as The White Lotus premiered its third season on Monday. HBO has already bragged about the series hitting a new premiere high of 2.4 million viewers on premiere night. It already did hit a new premiere high in the linear ratings, and its streaming performance is also looking pretty strong. We've been seeing hype building up for the show's return in the last month or so, with the show's first two seasons charting within the top ten on Max fairly frequently. In the week leading up to the premiere, it rose as high as #3 on the chart pre-premiere, hitting that peak on Sunday. Despite the hype for The White Lotus, it did not have an uninterrupted streak at #1 for the entire week, charting at #1 for four days this week before The Pitt returned to the #1 position. Despite losing out on the #1 spot for the majority of the week, it was a strong week for The Pitt. Its competition has been fairly limited since its premiere, which made its streak of ranking #1 on the Max chart a bit less impressive. By charting ahead of an established, proven hit like The White Lotus twice this week, The Pitt has shown that it is a genuinely strong performer itself, and didn't merely get lucky to have premiered at a time where HBO wasn't really airing anything else. The White Lotus wasn't the only HBO premiere this week, as Last Week Tonight with John Oliver also returned. As we saw in the fall, Last Week Tonight is stronger than fellow HBO talker Real Time, as it charted nearly the entire week, only missing Sunday, when it hadn't yet premiered its current season. It managed to peak as high as #2 this week, pushing past The Pitt on Tuesday and only being blocked from #1 by The White Lotus. While a weaker performer in general than Last Week Tonight, Real Time also charted at #2 this week, on Sunday, and charted four days in all. After a few weeks of gaining momentum, Harley Quinn had a worse week this week than the previous week, charting only three days and peaking at #5 - down from its #4 peak last week. Adult Swim's Common Side Effects charted throughout the week, peaking at #4. In terms of unscripted programming, The Curious Case Of... and Baylen Out Loud remained top performers on Max, while the original 90 Day Fiancé returned this week and immediately looked stronger than its spinoffs. While they typically fell off the chart after two or three days, 90 Day Fiancé has charted for five days and counting.
