Wednesday TV Ratings 2/5/25: Super Bowl Greatest Commercials Up from 2024, Hollywood Squares and Abbott Elementary Rise, Chicago PD Slides [+ Analysis]

Ratings Analysis: Hollywood Squares (0.38, +0.08) soared on CBS, but Raid the Cage (0.20, 0.00) failed to rise at ten. In-between the two, the annual Super Bowl Greatest Commercials special (0.36) was a hundredth above last year's edition (0.35). ABC's Shifting Gears (0.40, +0.02), Abbott Elementary (0.38, +0.04), and Celebrity Jeopardy! (0.25, +0.06) all bested their week-ago showings. At ten, a special about Isabella Strahan's cancer fight (0.15) was an improvement over Paradise (0.12). Chicago Med (0.48, +0.03) rose on NBC, but Chicago Fire (0.43, -0.05) and Chicago PD (0.38, -0.10) crashed. Special Forces (0.21, +0.02) was up slightly for its Fox finale. On the CW, the premiere of Wild Cards (0.05) led into a stable Inside the NFL (0.03, 0.00). Key: (P) = premiere. (F) = finale.
