CBS Renews Nine Series, Including NCIS: Origins, Elsbeth, Ghosts and Tracker

CBS has issued a mass renewal for nine of its primetime series, including a mix of some of their highest-rated programs and some of their lowest-rated. Three freshman series have received second seasons, with Thursday sitcom Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Monday night drama NCIS: Origins and midseason reality filler Hollywood Squares all receiving pickups. Sophomore series Elsbeth, Tracker and NCIS: Sydney have been renewed for third seasons. Veteran procedural NCIS has received a renewal for a twenty-third season, meaning all three current NCIS series will survive this season. Ghosts has received a notable two-season renewal, extending the run through at least the sixth season. Fire Country, which will launch a new spinoff next season, has been renewed for a fourth season. These renewals come just days after the order of a new Blue Bloods spinoff, as CBS begins to solidify its plans for the 2025-26 season. All are correct predictions for The TV Ratings Guide.

These pickups, along with the previous renewals of FBI and Matlock, leave The Neighborhood, Poppa's House, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, SWAT, The Equalizer and Watson as CBS's only ongoing series without their fates confirmed for next season yet.
