Broadcast TV's spring cleaning continues today as Fox has announced that The Big Leap will not return for a second season, the second such cancellation within the hour. The dance-oriented drama series rated as one of the season's lowest new show debuts, starting with a 0.29 and only getting worse from there, ultimately averaging 0.24. That's the lowest average for any Fox show this season so far, and it rates only above ABC's Promised Land, which has also already been canceled. The first season of The Big Leap wrapped months ago, with its eleventh and final episode airing on December 6th, 2021. This was a correct prediction for The TV Ratings Guide.
