The Goldbergs: At the end of last year, amid a bizarre scandal that ended with Jeff Garlin's termination, The Goldbergs looked like it could be in some serious trouble. It wasn't the first sign of trouble for the show, but it was the clearest. The show seems to have turned a corner after Garlin's firing, with additional episodes being added to this season's episode order. Despite that, I remained cautious in my prediction for it. However, news came this week that Wendi McLendon-Covey, the series' lead actress, had signed a deal for a potential tenth season of the series, which may even have an option for additional season beyond season ten. Combined with the fact that the show remains a top comedy for ABC, behind only Abbott Elementary, it's getting very difficult to imagine any chance that the show won't be back for a tenth season. It's a CERTAIN RENEWAL.

What do you think of my predictions? What are your predictions? Let me know in the comments and vote in the poll of the week!
