Ratings Analysis: Fox's 'The Masked Singer' (0.87) narrowly beat out CBS's 'Survivor' (0.84) as the two fading juggernauts faced off in the 8PM timeslot. Both programs were at the lower-end of their fall 2021 delivery but each avoided creating a new low. 'Suvivor' was followed by a rerun of drama 'FBI' (0.21) while 'Masked Singer' led into the meager series premiere of 'Domino Masters' (0.38). 'Masters was on-par with what 'Alter Ego' did in the slot three months ago, but it only has to lose 0.06 to go below the low that 'Ego' set. NBC had a remarkable evening as dramas 'Chicago Med' (0.85, +0.11) and 'Chicago Fire' (0.91, +0.10) climbed to season highs, and 'Chicago PD' (0.86, +0.09) jumped to its strongest rating since September. ABC's 'A Million Little Things' (0.23, +0.02) picked up two-hundredths while 'The Goldbergs' (0.43), 'The Wonder Years' (0.32), 'The Conners' (0.28), and 'Home Economics' (0.21) were all in repeat-mode. The CW's 'The Flash' (0.14, -0.03) slipped to a season low as 'Kung Fu' (0.10) returned only a hundredth higher than its series low.
Finals Update: 'The Masked Singer' (+0.1), 'Chicago PD' (+0.1), and 'Chicago Med' (+0.1) adjusted up.
