Ratings Analysis: On the first day of February, Fox's 'The Resident' (0.47, +0.07) proved that it still has some life in it by rising seven-hundredths for its midseason return. In sharp contrast, new reality series 'The Real Dirty Dancing' (0.22) was lifeless on arrival and lost over half of its 'Resident' lead-in. NBC drama 'This Is Us' (0.78, +0.02) ticked up while 'The Wall' (0.28) underwhelmed for a special 10PM episode. In the 8PM hour, sitcoms 'American Auto' (0.37, -0.01) and 'Grand Crew' (0.28, -0.03) inched down. On ABC, 'Judge Steve Harvey' (0.60, +0.06) and 'Abbott Elementary' (0.59, +0.01) rose for the first time in nearly a month as 'Black-ish' (0.42) tied what it garnered the week prior. 10PM reruns of 'Abbott Elementary' (0.27) and 'Black-ish' (0.24) were on-par with the week-ago 'Judge Steve' encore (0.26). CBS's 'FBI' (0.63, -0.12) crumbled after a three-week break but remained #1 in the 8PM timeslot. 'FBI: International' (0.60, +0.05) and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.55, +0.05) gained five-hundredths apiece. On the CW, 'Superman & Lois' (0.15, -0.04) and 'Naomi' (0.09, -0.01) slipped to new lows.
