Ratings Analysis: The opening ceremony of the '2022 Winter Olympics' (1.97) was multiple steps ahead of the other Friday-night broadcasts but came in a whopping 70% below the comparative ceremony from 2018 (6.5). But even a weakened 'Olympics' was enough to knock a few hundredths off of Fox's 'WWE Smackdown' (0.51, -0.05) and shave a tenth off Celebrity Big Brother' (0.38, -0.11). CBS followed up the fading 'Big Brother' spinoff with a rerun of 'Blue Bloods' (0.29). Despite going with repeats of 'Shark Tank' (0.46) and '20/20' (0.43), ABC beat out the Tiffany network by a rather wide margin. The CW had dismal reruns of 'Penn & Teller: Fool Us' (0.08) and 'Great Chocolate Showdown' (0.05).

Finals Update: '2022 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony' (+0.4) and the repeat of 'Shark Tank' (+0.1) adjusted up.
