A Million Little Things: Its ratings are awful. So awful, in fact, that just two scripted shows on the big four (freshman Fox flops Pivoting and The Big Leap) rate below it. However, I'm starting to think that it's more likely to be renewed than not. That's not because of any ratings feat accomplished by AMLT, but rather because just about every 10 PM drama on ABC is also performing terribly. While AMLT is the weakest of them all ratings-wise, it also has the worst lead-in of any of them. It's also seemingly pretty close to ending, anyway, as its creator, DJ Nash, reportedly has a five-season plan for it. As AMLT remains popular on streaming, I can easily imagine ABC deciding to give it a final season renewal. They have to renew some underperforming shows, and as of right now, there aren't any signs that they're canceling this one. It LEANS RENEWAL.
Promised Land: Since our last update, ABC pulled the plug on their vineyard drama, ending its run after just four episodes. It was one of the most obvious cancellations of the season, especially since it will allow for the much higher rated The Good Doctor to return earlier and improve the slot, and it was a correct prediction for me.
