Fred: CEO

Kevin: CFO

Gregory: General Manager

Christina: Director of Marketing & Promotions

Ruthie: Project Manager

FRED, KEVIN, GREGORY, CHRISTINA, and RUTHIE are all in a SugarCity boardroom.

FRED

Alright guys, it’s time to figure out what shows we want to advertise on.

CHRISTINA

I feel like you should want my opinion too, as Director of Marketing & Promotions.

RUTHIE

And since I reluctantly take on the role of Project Manager of this not Baby Ruthie product, my opinion should also be heard.

FRED

Yeah. I never said anything of the opposite.

CHRISTINA

You said guys. You implied you only wanted the opinions of Kevin and Gregory.

KEVIN

Trust me, you don’t want that, Fred.

FRED

I meant guys as in everyone. Let’s start over. Alright everyone, it’s time to figure out what shows we want to advertise on. Kevin, what’s our budget?

KEVIN

You said you wanted a go big or go home budget, so we’re talking over $200 million.

FRED

Is that a lot for candy bar standards?

KEVIN

I don’t know. But it’s a lot by our standards, that’s for sure.

FRED

Let’s buy some ad space on all the major broadcast networks. I’m thinking the top dramas.

KEVIN

We’d actually run out of money fairly quickly.

FRED

You didn’t let me finish—drama reruns.

KEVIN

On Saturday nights? Sure. Unless you want to spend all the money at once, then we can splurge.

FRED

Let’s meet somewhere in between, find a couple sitcoms.

KEVIN

We still talking broadcast networks?

FRED

Cable. And also Hula-hoop+ while we’re at it, those ads can’t be expensive right?

KEVIN

Well…

RUTHIE

To tell you the God’s-honest truth, I don’t think we can go any more wrong than we did with producing the ad.

GREGORY

Wait a minute—since we’re trying to sell the idea of the ad being funny, shouldn’t we be advertising during sitcoms?

CHRISTINA

Yeah, that’s what we decided.

GREGORY

Didn’t we decide on dramas?

CHRISTINA

No…

GREGORY

Oh. I must’ve tune you all out after Fred first suggested dramas.

FRED

Yeah, not my best suggestion.

RUTHIE

Possibly your worst!

FRED

Thanks Ruthie. So the decision is made: we’ll buy some space on broadcast sitcoms and obscure streaming service sitcoms. Sound good?

CHRISTINA

You’re the CEO. But yeah, it actually does sound good.

FRED

You think people will react positively to this ad?

CHRISTINA

Only time will tell. But for the sake of morale, I’ll say yes.

FRED

Great. Let’s buy some spots and hope for the best guys!

CHRISTINA

You mean everyone?

FRED

Yes. I mean everyone. Good meeting.

FRED leaves.

CHRISTINA

I have a bad feeling about this, guys.

CHRISTINA leaves.
