United States of Al - Season 2, Episode 14 Review

USofAl shifts back into sitcom mode with a rare episode that does not mention Afghan refugees.

This is a sweet episode about relationship insecurities. Riley finally realizes how hard it was on Vanessa to be home while he was deployed in Afghanistan; Lizzie and Lois grow closer, which concerns Art; and for comic relief, Hazel starts a dog-walking business and ropes in Al to help her.

Male model handsome Riley starts working out to make sure he's physically attractive to Holly who is away in Hawaii with 200 other guys! It's funny but it also reminded me of Parker Young's previous role in SUBURGATORY when the show took full advantage and made his character a himbo shirtless comic foil. Is this a sign of desperation or blatant ratings grab? Even on social media, Parker Young reposted a fan loving his "hairy pits." lol!

Art, who hasn't really resolved his relationship issues with uber-rich Lois, worries about her friendship with Lizzie JUST in case they split up.

We should find out soon if USofAl gets a third season, but with the zippy laughs and Parker Young's physique on display, it's not for lack of trying!
