Ratings Analysis: ABC's 'The Good Doctor' (0.41) premiered to a new low for its fifth season debut, continuing a trend it has carried out since the series began. The veteran drama continues to age poorly and fell close to 40% when compared to last season. Its 'Dancing with the Stars' lead-in (0.72) was two-tenths lower than the week prior. NBC's 'The Voice' (0.96) shed a tenth while new drama 'Ordinary Joe' (0.36) dropped by two-tenths from an already lackluster debut. After hitting a series low for its premiere, Fox's '9-1-1' (0.85) managed to rebound in week two, rising by a full tenth on a week-to-week basis. 'The Big Leap' (0.25) failed to replicate that feat, losing four-hundredths from its pathetic start. On CBS, 'The Neighborhood' (0.66) and 'Bob Hearts Abishola' (0.59) rose by three-hundredths and five-hundredths respectively. Dramas 'NCIS' (0.71) and 'NCIS: Hawai'i' (0.50) were practically even. The CW's 'Roswell, New Mexico' (0.07) was flat and led into a rerun of 'Penn & Teller' (0.07).
Finals Update: '9-1-1' (+0.1) and 'The Neighborhood' (+0.1) adjusted up. 'The Good Doctor' (-0.2) and 'Dancing with the Stars' (-0.1) adjusted down.
