Ratings Analysis: Fox couldn't seem to catch a break on day two of premiere week, with the series debut of drama 'Our Kind of People' (0.35) performing only marginally better than Monday's disastrous launch of 'The Big Leap' (0.29). Earlier in the evening, 'The Resident' (0.50) actually had a somewhat healthy return at 8. The Amy Holden Jones drama was down a little more than 20% from its winter 2021 debut but was on-par with where it left off in the spring. On NBC, 'The Voice' (1.09) rose by one-hundredth from Monday night, showing that Ariana Grande's inclusion might be paying off in the ratings department. At 10, the 'New Amsterdam' premiere (0.54) was in-line with its last episodes from early June. CBS's all-'FBI' night got off to a stellar start, with 'FBI' (0.72) almost tying what 'NCIS' (0.73) garnered on Monday and 'FBI: Most Wanted' (0.66) going above nearly every data-point from last season. At 10, the very first installment of 'FBI: International' (0.59) held down the fort rather nicely, losing just a few hundredths from 'Most Wanted'. ABC and the CW were still airing out their summer programming, with 'Bachelor in Paradise' (0.87) and 'The Ultimate Surfer' finale (0.25) dropping by nine and six hundredths respectively. In CW news, 'Stargirl' (0.12, +0.03) and 'Supergirl' (0.08, +0.02) made some minor gains.
Finals Update: 'Bachelor in Paradise' (+0.1), 'FBI: Most Wanted' (+0.1) and 'Our Kind of People' (+0.1) adjusted up.
