Ratings Analysis: Fox's 'The Masked Singer' (1.01) lost a tenth from last week's return but narrowly outdid CBS's 'Survivor' (1.00, -0.06) to once more hold onto the top spot. CBS followed 'Survivor' with the season finale of 'Big Brother' (0.94), the latter rose by a whopping three-tenths from the tepid 0.61 it garnered a week prior. Fox's 'Alter Ego' (0.47) fell by two-tenths from last Wednesday and retained less than half of the 'Masked Singer' audience. ABC's 'The Wonder Years' (0.50) suffered a steep 25% drop in week two but remained close to its 'Goldbergs' lead-in (0.55) and 'Conners' lead-in (0.51), with the latter two also falling by close to two-tenths. The weak links of the lineup seemed mostly unfazed as 'Home Economics' (0.36) only lost five-hundredths and 'A Million Little Things' (0.31) actually rose by two-hundredths. 'Chicago Med' (0.74) and 'Chicago Fire' (0.85) fell by four-hundredths and a single hundredth respectively while 'Chicago PD' (0.76) lost a full tenth. On the CW, 'Riverdale' (0.05) shed two-hundredths while 'In the Dark' (0.04) held even.
Finals Update: 'The Masked Singer' (+0.1), 'Survivor' (+0.1), 'The Goldbergs' (+0.1), 'Chicago Fire' (+0.1), 'Home Economics' (+0.1), and 'Chicago PD' (+0.1) adjusted up. 'In the Dark' (-0.2) adjusted down.
