Tuesday TV Ratings 9/28/21: La Brea Becomes Highest-Rated Premiere of the Season, The Resident Hits Series Low, Bachelor in Paradise, FBI and The Voice Also Drop (UPDATED)

Ratings Analysis: NBC finally found a legitimate hit on their hands in the form of new drama 'La Brea' (0.77). The series debut of 'Brea' retained the majority of its declining 'Voice' lead-in (0.95) and blew last week's 'New Amsterdam' premiere (0.54) out of the water. This is the highest-rated debut for a new program this season, making this launch a clear success story for those running the peacock network. 'Amsterdam' itself (0.43) shed a tenth in the 10pm slot when compared to its week-ago return. On ABC, 'Bachelor in Paradise' (0.77) lost a tenth from last week. CBS's 'FBI' (0.68) was down by just four hundredths while 'FBI: International' (0.52) shed seven-hundredths. 'Most Wanted' (0.54) lost close to two-tenths in its move back to the 10pm hour. Fox's 'The Resident' (0.43) lost a tenth but 'Our Kind of People' (0.34) only fell by a single hundredth, making its performance a lot more digestible than before. 'Stargirl' (0.08) and 'Supergirl' (0.07) held flat on the CW.

Finals Update: 'The Voice' (+0.1), 'La Brea' (+0.1), 'Bachelor in Paradise' (+0.1) and 'FBI' (+0.1) adjusted up. 'DC's Stargirl' (-0.1) and 'Supergirl' (-0.1) adjusted down.
