Dancing With the Stars Season 25 Episode 4 Review

It's Guilty Pleasures week on Dancing With the Stars, and with everything in the news right now, I hope that this can be a nice escape from all of that.

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas -
I loved this dance SO much! It was fun, energetic, and flawless. This was by far the best dance of the season, and the choreography was great. I just wanted to get up and dance with her, because this was fantastic.
My Score: 10

Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess -
I'll be honest here, I wasn't really a big fan of this dance. It was okay, but it wasn't really anything special. I actually liked his dance from last week, the Paso, better than this one. I really think Derek could be a very good dancer, but at this point, he needs a lot of work.
My Score: 6

Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson -
I loved Frankie's dance from last week, and this was undeniably a downgrade. This was just okay, and it was very disappointing after two dances with solid improvement. This was far from my least favorite of the night, and it was still (very) fun to watch.
My Score: 7

Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd -
I haven't been a huge fan of Nick's dances thus far, but this was very enjoyable. It still wasn't as good as his wife's, but it was an improvement on his previous dances and it was fun to watch. So good job Nick, and keep it up!
My Score: 7

Vanessa Lachey and Maks Chmerkovskiy -
This was a good dance, even without Maks there. It wasn't as good as her dance from episode two, but this was better than the dance from episode three. I enjoyed the dance and look forward to her next one.
My Score: 8

Drew Scott and Emma Slater -
Drew just keeps getting better and better, and this dance is no exception. It was clearly his best dance so far, and it was just really well done. He's gotten the hang of it all so quickly, and he's improved more than anyone else here. I'm excited to see what he does next.
My Score: 8

Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke -
This was a decent dance, and it was Terrell's best so far, but I still didn't love it. It was okay, but it really didn't resemble a salsa all that much. I wasn't really that impressed by it (at least, not like Carrie Ann was), but it was still Terrell's best and I'll give him credit for improving.
My Score: 7

Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy -
This was a good dance, and it was very fun to watch, but something that was there with Victoria's Tango is kinda lacking, and I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyways, this was still good.
My Score: 7

Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko -
This was a super disappointing dance. I really enjoyed both of Sasha's dances from last week, but this was just not very good. It felt a little slow and un-energetic to me, and I just didn't like it all that much. The most disappointing thing about that is that she was getting so much better.
My Score: 6

Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev -
This was a pretty good dance, and it was much better than the Samba from last week. This was Nikki's best dance, and though it was an untraditional Viennese Waltz, I still liked it. Also, hey John Cena! Nice to see you!
My Score: 7

Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold -
This was a really, really creative dance, and the choreography was fantastic, so huge props to Lindsay. It was a very fun dance to watch, and it was Derek's best so far. It definitely deserved a higher score than Len's 7.
My Score: 9

Superlatives:
Worst of the Night: Sasha & Gleb

Wrap-Up-
This was a great episode, the best of the season. The week's theme led to some very creative dances, and some very good ones. It was also a great way to take my mind off of the current news, and that's great.
My Score: 9.5/10
My Grade: A
