ABC brought The ESPYs (1.6) to their network again leading to a bump from it's last few ratings
from ESPN, but significantly below last year's 2.2. CBS's Big Brother (1.7) despite inching down beat it out
followed by a Criminal Minds repeat (0.8) and another low American Gothic (0.5). The Wednesday  premiere of America's Got Talent (2.3)  was only a tenth down from yesterday's episode while The Night Shift (1.3) benefited and hit a season high. On FOX, Masterchef (1.1) was down two tenths, while Wayward Pines (0.8) was up a tenth, but could adjust down. The CW brought back  Penn and Teller: Fool Us (0.4) which greatly improved from the 0.2s they usually see, it was followed by Whose Line Is It Anyway (0.4) and a repeat (0.4) afterwards.
