ABC said goodbye to three of their comedies for the summer, but by the look of those
numbers, they won't really miss them as repeats of The Middle (0.6) and Fresh off the
Boat (0.6/0.5) completly underwhelmed, and to top it all off a truly disasterous repeat
of The Real O' Neals (0.4). CBS had a repeat of NCIS (0.7) followed by Zoo (0.7)
which was down a tenth. NBC dominated thee night with America's Got Talent (2.2),
while FOX saw Hotel Hell (0.8) down a tenth, and Coupled (0.5) even, the latter of
which has surprisingly not been pulled off the air. And The CW said goodbye to
Containment (0.3) which was even after a repeat of The Flash (0.2). It was day 2
of the Republican National Convention for ABC, CBS, and NBC in the 10pm hour.
ABC (0.5) was down a tenth from yesterday, but CBS (0.5) was even. NBC (1.1),
was even, and continued to dominate, though it did have the highest lead-in of the
night.
Finals Update: On NBC, America's Got Talent (2.3) adjusted up, and the Republican
National Convention (1.0) adjusted down. ABC had their comedy repeats get even
worse as the 8:30 repeat of Fresh off the Boat (0.5) adjusted down. And FOX looked
a little better as Hotel Hell (0.9) adjusted up to tie last week, and tied it's season high.
