CBS is giving another show of support to one of the biggest hit shows to ever air, this season's breakout legal comedy-drama, So Help Me Todd. The record-breaking ratings smash starring Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin has lit up the ratings charts this season and earned a quick pickup for season two. Now, the network is moving full steam ahead with a full investment in a franchise based on the groundbreaking hit series, because if there's one thing people love more than one show about a lawyer and her son named Todd, it's four shows about a lawyer and her son named Todd. Beginning next season, Thursday nights on CBS will be devoted fully to the Toddiverse, with So Help Me Todd anchoring the night and accompanied by new spinoffs For The Love of Todd, For Todd's Sake and Todd Help Us. For The Love of Todd and For Todd's Sake are said to be half-hour comedies, while Todd Help Us will be on the more dramatic side. Casts have not been announced for these new series, but CBS is said to be looking at former Diff'rent Strokes star Todd Bridges to lead the cast of one of the comedies, while OJ Simpson trial prosecutor Marcia Clark is eyeing a return to television in a leading role in Todd Help Us and Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd is rumored to join the cast of an undisclosed series in the Todd franchise.
